It's SPEEDWEEKS and I as a blogger am so glad the season is finally starting!! So let's get caught up shall we? I hope you had a great off season, mine was ok. So for those who haven't heard, Danica and Ricky Stenhouse Jr are an item. Interesting pairing, but if it makes them happy, than I'm happy for them!
The drivers seem pretty happy with the Gen 6 car so far. The only thing with it is that they can't bump draft like they have been. The air between the front and back cars are very different than it was. Some drivers have said there is a "spring" to the air when they try to get close to the other drivers.
The big news today is that Danica got the pole for the Daytona 500!! WAY TO GO GIRL! Maybe now you can shut up that loud mouth Kyle Petty. Kyle is a good guy, but he has put down Danica ever since she made the move to NASCAR and I for one am glad she has proven herself in this sport.
Danica has made history by being the first female in the Cup Series to get the pole.
Dale will start 6th in his Gatoraide Duel, having qualified 11th overall.
Another offseason tidbit of info for you, TJ and his girlfriend got married in Key West.
Brad and Dale were in the wedding party.
